City of Renton's 125th Birthday Celebration

On September 6, 1901, a city was born. Now, 125 years later, we’re celebrating the community that continues to write Renton’s story.
Join the City of Renton and the Renton Historical Society for Birthday in the Park, a community celebration at Liberty Park, Renton’s first public park, originally known as City Park on Sunday, September 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Step back in time with a walk through Renton’s history, enjoy games, live music, and activities for all ages, gather with friends and neighbors, and, of course, celebrate with birthday cake!
Everyone is welcome! RSVP at rentonwa.gov/125thbirthday
This is just the start! Our Birthday in the Park will be the first of many ways the city is celebrating our 125th. Follow this page for ways to be part of the celebration all year long!
Thank you for your contribution!
