Project is underway!

Work is underway for the Highlands Reservoir Water Main Improvements Project. This past week, crews have been on site working on the following:

  • Setting up the project and installing notification signage
  • Inserting catch basins throughout the project limits for stormwater protection
  • Contractors began potholing existing utilities at Edmonds Ave NE and NE 12th St. to prep for upcoming construction
  • Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is onsite relocating underground gas and power lines
  • Temporary steel plates with warning signage were installed to maintain safe roadway access
  • No water service interruptions are anticipated for at least the next several months
