April - Sikh Heritage Month/ Vaisakhi Day
April is Sikh Heritage Month, a time to recognize the rich culture, history, and contributions of the Sikh community.
During the month of April, the Sikh community celebrate Vaisakhi also known as Khalsa Day, a significant cultural festival for the Sikh community marking the birth of the Khalsa and the end of the harvest season. To commemorate the occasion, Sikh communities around the world hold parades and festivities.
