Renton Market, Piazza Park, and Legacy Square update: May 2026

Progress continues as the Renton Market, Piazza Park, and Legacy Square areas move through key construction and activation milestones. Concrete work, landscaping preparation, and tenant coordination are all advancing as we approach June.


Renton Market & Piazza Park

What’s been completed:

  • Vestibule and outdoor canopy roof installed
  • Oven hood installed for classroom kitchen
  • Vendor stall structure complete
  • Installation of the Renton Market vendor booths
  • Farmer’s Market layout/map has been drafted and finalized
  • Curved concrete walkways in Piazza
  • Interior lighting

What’s in progress:

  • Concrete pouring
  • Plants being delivered
  • Surveying and inspections
  • Interior walls of the market
  • Development of seating areas throughout the Piazza Park outside of turf/sod zones
  • Round metal seating pieces with wood tops, including a larger multi-use seating area that can function as a stage

What’s upcoming:

  • Plant installation
  • Landscaping work expected to begin soon and take approximately 3–4 days


Legacy Square

What’s been recently completed:

  • Futsal court goals and netting in place

What’s in-progress:

  • Playground build
