The City of Renton's Community Celebrations come in many different forms, from receptions, to proclamations, to video interviews that spotlight members of the Renton community. The intent of the city's celebrations are to reach and connect with the individuals and groups that contribute to inclusivity and success of the Renton community.
The City of Rentonhostsreceptions on a rollingbasis. The rolling calendar allows for the city to recognize and make space for all the groups that make up Renton’s diverse community. Celebrations may be held at City Hall as a means of connecting key community leaders and guests with city leadership around a distinct purpose (Proclamation policy 100-18).
In addition to the receptions, the city may incorporate recognitions that celebrate Renton’s history and align with the city’s initiatives and community priorities.
