We’re excited to partner with Renton residents on revitalizing the playground at Highlands Park and Neighborhood Center. The current equipment has served the community for nearly 20 years and is due for an update. This project aims to replace the aging playground equipment and safety surfacing while introducing new features that enhance both fun and safety.
Beyond simply updating equipment, this initiative seeks to create a space that reflects the community’s values and needs. To achieve this, we invite you and your children to share your input on the changes you’d like to see.
Please visit the online "Ideas Board" below to post and vote on suggestions. You can also submit your ideas in person at the Highlands Neighborhood Center’s lobby exhibit or during the following Parks and Recreation events:
Your feedback will help guide our planning and design process, ensuring the new playground meets the desires of our community. Thank you!
