FAQs
What is a Festival Street?
A festival street is a public space that can be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic and be used for festivals, markets, outdoor dining, and other community events.
What makes this summer’s closure of Logan different than having a festival street?
The closure of Logan Street began as a temporary measure in May 2026. It was timed to support the opening of Legacy Square and Piazza Park and to accommodate increased pedestrian activity during World Cup watch parties and the Renton Farmers Market. The street will remain temporarily closed through February 2027 while staff continues the process of establishing a formal Festival Street.
