The Mayor's Inclusion Task Force is a group of community members from many different backgrounds serving their unique communities as a bridge for two-way dialogue with the city, sharing information with the city, and helping the city better understand Renton's unique communities. These members are from different cultural and social groups. The group was founded in 2015 by Mayor Denis Law and has supported the city in its effort to work towards its goal of inclusion and equity for the past nine years.

The city's Executive Services Department supports and manages the task force. Their meetings are held on the third Thursday of every other month, with a break over the summer months.

In 2020, led by Mayor Armondo Pavone, the task force members were instrumental in forming the city's first Equity Commission where community members representing diverse perspectives in review of city policies and programs. Task force members play a crucial role in helping serve as translators, trusted advisors, and bridges to their community. Some of the work they have helped with include the 2020 Census, Cultural Celebrations, and Civic Recognitions.
