Draft PROS Plan

We are excited to announce that the draft PROS Plan is now available for review.


Community input has been a critical driver in shaping this Plan and is reflected throughout the document. If you have comments or feedback on the draft plan, please send them to PROSplan2026@rentonwa.gov no later than January 14. 2026.

During December 2025 and January 2026, we will be presenting the draft Plan at a series of committee, commission, and City Council meetings that are open to the public. Key scheduled upcoming meetings include:

  • Committee of the Whole - Briefing - December 8, 2025
  • Planning Commission - Public Hearing - January 7, 2026
  • Planning Commission - Deliberation and Recommendation - January 21, 2026
  • City Council - Plan Adoption - January 26, 2026.

Please note that meeting dates are subject to change. We recommend confirming schedules and agendas as they are posted to the City's website (City of Renton - Meeting Type List).

We look forward to adopting the final PROS Plan in early 2026 and continuing the community conversation.
