Community Engagement Wrap-up

The PROS Plan community engagement phase is coming to a close, and we now turn our attention to drafting the plan that will guide Renton’s parks and recreation programs over the next six years. Thank you to everyone who joined an event, completed a survey, or added points to our interactive map—your input has been invaluable.

Beginning with the annual State of the City event in March 2025, we’ve connected with thousands of community members at the Farmers Market, Renton River Days, King County Library Family Fun Days, neighborhood BBQs, Safety Fest, the skate park, and numerous other locations across Renton. We also received nearly 600 survey responses, all of which will help shape the updated PROS Plan.

While this focused engagement phase has wrapped up, we’re always interested in hearing your comments or feedback about Renton’s parks, open spaces, and programs.

Your comments and feedback have been instrumental in shaping the PROS Plan update and will continue to guide the future of Renton’s parks, open spaces, and programs. While the focused engagement phase has concluded, we’ll continue to keep you updated as we draft and finalize the plan.

Stay tuned for the release of the draft PROS Plan this fall!
