Huge congratulations to our two finalists whose artwork will soon brighten storm drain covers across Renton!

We’re truly blown away by the community’s enthusiasm. We received more than 2,600 votes over the course of two weeks! Whether you voted online or stopped by during Renton River Days, Renton Farmers Market, or Legacy Square, thank you for helping shape Renton’s vibrant arts scene.

A big shout-out to our Public Works Department, the Renton Municipal Arts Commission, and all the dedicated staff who helped select our top five designs and gather votes.

And of course, thank you to every artist who submitted their work. We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a diverse, creative, and passionate community.

The process has begun to turn these winning designs into actual storm drain covers. Keep an eye out for updates on the installation coming later this year!
