The annual Renton River Days celebration is the perfect chance to get involved in shaping the future of Renton’s parks and recreation system. Join us Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27 at Liberty Park, where we’ll be hosting a PROS Plan community booth as part of the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan update.

Stop by to:

  • Meet Parks and Recreation staff and have a dialogue about what’s most important to you in Renton’s parks, recreation, and natural areas

  • Share your ideas using interactive boards and maps

  • Provide park-specific feedback on some of Renton’s most visited parks

  • Help guide the updated vision for the Tri-Park area (Liberty Park, Cedar River Park, the N.A.R.Co Property, portion of the Cedar River Natural Area, and beyond)

  • Explore existing, new, and updates to park concepts plan, including a new park at the Cleveland Richardson Property off Talbot Road

  • Explore concepts for a new park at the Cleveland-Richardson Property off Talbot Road

  • Learn about upcoming trail improvements in the Cedar River Natural Area

City staff and the PROS Plan consulting team will be on hand throughout the weekend to share conversation and hear your input. Whether you want to dive deep into park planning or just share a quick idea, this open house-style booth is your chance to make your voice heard. We hope to see you there!
