Liberty skateboard park

As a lifelong resident of Renton, I have spoken to multiple mayors and multiple councils, and three heads of the Parks Department over multiple decadesto create and maintain more skateboard parks in Renton. The 2006 Tri park master plan was worked on by many local skateboarders. We were promised and had planned for a couple of new skateboard parks in Renton. for some reason, they were just removed from the plans as stated in the master plan two decades later we’re going through the same process all over again in the pros plan. why are we spending money on new Parks plans when we already had one in Tri park master plan? Skate parks provide all of the requirements of the three pillars concept. liberty Skatepark is coming up on 25 years constant use. one of the more used features of the city of Renton Parks Department. We need to consider replacing liberty Skatepark with a regional larger Skatepark and smaller skate parks in the neighborhoods surrounding Renton.
