Springbrook Creek and trail

Of all the parks in the city this one is by far the least used and least known about, and as a result the most poorly maintained, large stretches are close due to tree root damage, a small section is completely overgrown and unusable, and the boardwalk is still damaged from the fire a few years ago. I hope this particular trail and park can get some much needed attention in the future.

Liberty skateboard park

As a lifelong resident of Renton, I have spoken to multiple mayors and multiple councils, and three heads of the Parks Department over multiple decadesto create and maintain more skateboard parks in Renton. The 2006 Tri park master plan was worked on by many local skateboarders. Renton skatepark

The renton skatepark has always gave people living in apartments and with there parents a place to go to outdoors. Ive learned new tricks there and relearned old tricks. It also gives people an opportunity to socialize with others. I remember when it was built i was 18 and it was the funnest place to go to that is free.
